Malaysian WiMax operator pushes for 2010 rollout

Local Wimax service provider has partnered with Samsung to provide to implement its WiMax network across the country over the next five years. However, it will take at least 14 months before the high-speed mobile broadband service from YTL's subsidiary, YTL e-Solutions, is expected to be rolled out nationwide in July 2010.
Anna University to become fully wi-fi enabled campus

This study, commissioned by APC and written by wireless expert Ian Howard explores sustainable ICT and is intended to serve as a guide to members of the W4D community involved in African initiatives, Howard draws conclusions based on his observations of two telecentres in Tanzania with very different business models.
